A grid-tied solar system is connected directly to Eskom’s power grid. This system uses solar power during the day and the grid when needed. It cuts your bill significanlty but doesn’t provide backup during outages unless paired with batteries.
Off-Grid Solar System
Fully independent from Eskom. All energy comes from solar and batteries, often supported by a standby generator. Ideal for full energy independence.
Hybrid Solar System
Combines solar, batteries, and grid access. It stores excess power for use during load shedding or at night, offering both savings and backup power.
